The 1986 World Cup in Mexico seen the clubbing together of Uruguay, West Germany, Scotland and Denmark as Group E - or more famously remembered as the Group of Death. Uruguay entered the tournament as South American champions and a favourite to win but nobody was prepared for the level of force and violence that was to be a big part of their game plan - and completely destroy their image. Denmark ended up top of the group followed by West Germany and Uruguay in third, sending Scotland packing. Uruguay's following game was against Argentina which, to no ones regret, they lost.
